Merry Music Makers to Participate in Unprecedented International Livestream Event to Celebrate The United Nations’ International Day of Peace, September 21

Local families here to be part of event taking place in over 30 locations including Japan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Croatia, England, and more

WHAT: MUSIC TOGETHER is gathering families from the Chicago area to join families around the world(including Japan, Saudi Arabia, Croatia and England) via a LIVESTREAM MUSIC TOGETHER EVENT in celebration of the UNITED NATIONS INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE. Local families will be singing the peace song MAY ALL CHILDREN at 4 PM CT.

WHERE: Merry Music Makers is hosting the event at their Lakeview location, 3759 N Ravenswood Ave #119, Chicago.

WHEN: Monday September 21, 2015, 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, with the livestream happening at 4:00 PM. (Prior to going LIVE at 4, Merry Music Makers will lead families in song and dance for Peace Day).

WHO: The event will be led by Mary Chaisson, Director of Merry Music Makers, with many families scheduled to attend, and the event is open to the public .

Additional info: All over the world, throughout the 4:00 PM hour (local time), dozens of families will be gathered and led by their local Music Together director to sing the two minute song MAY ALL CHILDREN, live. Full list of locations/countries at

Created by a United Nations resolution in 1981, the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on September 21. It is a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.

Music Together is an internationally recognized, developmentally appropriate early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through grade two, with locations in 2,500 communities in 41 countries.

Merry Music Makers serves over 200 Chicagoland families a semester and offers dozens of Music Together classes (babies, toddlers, and preschoolers), in addition to private lessons in violin, guitar, piano, voice and ukulele at their three locations in Lakeview, Andersonville, and Edgewater.
