Merry Music Makers, Inc. is seeking a part-time Office Manager to begin immediately. The Office Manager is responsible for student enrollment processes, front line customer service for MMM families and for providing support to the staff. The Office Manager reports to the Executive Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service and reception duties include answering incoming calls; checking messages; greeting students and families; responding to customer inquiries; maintaining reception area cleanliness; and ordering office supplies.
Group Class Registrations: register students; process payments; maintain student records, schedule demonstration and makeup classes.
Assist Directors as needed.
Minimum two years exceptional customer service experience.
Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing.
Desire to work in a family/child friendly environment.
Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, online enrollment system).
Must possess an Illinois driver’s license with clean driving record.
Musical background is a plus.
Preferred candidates will possess a cheerful, positive demeanor, and excellent judgment. In addition, they will display a high-level of professionalism, be detail-oriented and take direction well.
8-12 hours per week, with weekend morning availability required.
Compensation for this position is hourly, based upon qualifications and experience.
