Summer Session registration is now open!

Music classes outdoors, online, and in the classroom

Sing, play, dance and laugh together with your little one and your neighbors at music class this Summer! We are trying to meet every family where they're at this Summer by offering classes outdoors, online, and in the classroom.

The 6-week session begins on July 5, so try to sign-up soon to get the class that works with your schedule. Speaking of schedules, we know that people like to travel during the summer, so we'll be offering unlimited make-up classes.

We limit the number of children in every class to make sure that we all have room to move to the beat while keeping our distance, which makes it easy to follow our safety plan. Spring classes have filled up quickly and we want to make sure to sing "Hello" to your child!

This summer we'll explore the Harmonica Song Collection from Music Together! It includes a wonderful assortment of Music Together favorites, such as the foot stompin' "Old Brass Wagon," and the playful "Two Little Kitty Cats." Your family will delight in making animal sounds along to the traditional Argentinian folk song, "Vengan a Ver," as well as taking time for a snuggle as you sing along to the soft and soothing lullaby, "Raisins and Almonds."

In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition for any Music Together® class includes the illustrated songbook for you to use at home and access to the songs through the app and a CD. Enrolled families can log-in to the Customer Portal on our website for exclusive access to such resources as song videos in the Video Vault and musical activity sheets.

NEW LOCATION: Hamlin Park is a new location where we'll be teaching on weekends this coming summer. If you're familiar with the park, then you may know the shady spot where we plan to hold classes near the grove of trees between the playground and Damen Ave. We'll also be offering more classes at our Andersonville location that has a beautifully shaded spot for families under a large tree.

NEW TEACHER: Daniel De Lorimier is a multi-instrumentalist from central California and has been teaching music to students of all ages for over 7 years. With an early foundation of music appreciation he gained from family, church choir, and piano lessons, he fell in love with the guitar at age 13. While in the Bay Area, he taught music at an elementary school and performed and recorded with numerous pop/rock bands. Daniel also teaches private lessons on guitar, bass, ukulele, piano, voice, and drums. Learn more.

TEACHER NEWS: You may have noticed that Ms. Jessica and Ms. Julie are not on the schedule for summer session. Ms. Jessica recently completed a program for her Illinois teaching license and is excited to be pursuing full-time music teaching opportunities. Ms. Julie is taking a well-deserved break to visit her family in Canada whom she hasn't seen in far too long.

Join us for this session and fill your family's summer with music, fun, and friendship!
