A half day camp for 3-5 year olds!

Embark on a musical adventure tailored just for your little ones at our Mini Jam Tot Camp! This engaging drop-off camp, located conveniently in Northcenter at the newly renovated American Theater building on Byron at Lincoln Avenue, promises an unforgettable experience for your young music enthusiasts. Camp hours 9am-11:30am.

  • 🍎 Snack and Potty Breaks: Our campers enjoy essential breaks for snacks and potty time, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Mini Jam is a perfect first time drop off experience for your little one. Caring instructors will inspire campers’ curiosity about the musical world around them! 🎵✨

Learn more about each week

  • Explore the enchanting world of instrument families. In this unit, Campers learn to differentiate sounds, demonstrate beat, and discover the unique qualities of each instrument family.

  • Travel through diverse musical landscapes as campers learn about different musical styles and instruments from around the globe.

  • Dive into the science of sound in an age-appropriate manner. Explore questions like: How is sound made? Do bigger ears mean better hearing? How do echoes work?

  • Unleash the rhythm within! Campers explore various drums, honing their listening skills and translating the beats they hear into their own drumming masterpieces.

Developed by experienced classroom teacher and instructional designer Julie Hochman, our curriculum ensures clear objectives and engaging lesson plans for the 3-hour music portion of camp. Get ready for a summer like never before as we blend the best of last year's favorites with a refreshing lineup of new adventures!

Camp Logisitcs

  • Beginning at 8:45, you may drive up to the loading zone at the entrance to LYRIQ Music School South. Proceed to the front desk where we'll escort your child to the classroom. You MUST sign your child in and out each day. The loading zone and entrance are at 1909 W Byron.

  • 9:00-9:20: Morning centers

    9:20- 9:40: Circle Time

    9:40- 10:10: Storybook-inspired musical exploration

    10:10-10:30 Snack

    10:30-11:20: Whole group theme related musical activity

    11:20-11:30- get ready to go home

  • Forms must be completed one week before the start of camo.

  • Pack a water bottle and peanut-free snack.

  • All campers must be potty trained to attend camp. No exceptions.

  • Costs:

    $225 per week, 5 half-days, 9am-11:30am

    Are there any discounts?
    Campers receive a $25 discount when registering by February 5th. Use coupon code EARLYTOT24.

    After February 5th, campers enrolling in multiple weeks receive $15 off their subsequent registrations. Siblings of campers can receive $15 off when registering in the same weeks as their siblings. No coupon code is needed! Discounts cannot be combined.

  • There are spaces for 12 campers per week.
